This is a beautiful, also hilly walk, approximately 4.5 miles. Steep in places. Option of drink at the Snowdrop in South Street Lewes at the end. Meet leader at Lewes station car park 6.53pm for the final Wednesday evening sunset walk on the Downs above Lewes. A circular 12 mile walk from Findon taking in Cissbury Ring, Chanctonbury Ring, Steyning, via Stump Bottom and the South Downs Way. Rolling Downland with wonderful views on a clear day; wooded paths and lanes. Very hilly, steep in places.
LUNCH: in Steyning between 60-90 minutes where there is a good choice of tea rooms, cafes and two pubs, or bring a picnic if you prefer.
