Weather forecast currently looking good (Sunny, low 20s) for this circular walk initially heading west through Lewes, then gradually climbing NW via Landport Bottom and Mount Harry to Blackcap (206m), then a long, steep descent before continuing to lunch / picnic stop at the Rainbow Pub & Carvery at Cooksbridge after ca. 6.5 miles. (Can you please advise if you would like lunch and I can then send you the extensive menu to make your selection). After lunch continuing eastwards towards Barcombe and then following the Sussex Ouse Valley way back to Lewes.
Accessible by public transport: Meet at Brighton station for the 10:05 to Lewes, arrives 10:19. Leader will be going directly to starting point.
