Don’t forget the 2017 BAHR summer barbecue. Come along and join us on Saturday 1 July between 4.30 and 9.00pm for a relaxing get-together by the camp fire. Please bring your picnic gear, and your food and drink. We will provide the barbecues up to 8.00pm. Hot drinks will be available.
Where? Mick Thatcher’s field in Spatham Lane, Ditchling. To reach there, turn right at the cross roads in Ditchling village on to the B2116, then turn left into Spatham Lane after leaving the village. The field is on the left after approximately half a mile. It will be sign-posted. If in doubt, see map on the website. It’s a beautiful rustic setting, perfect for BBQs! Ample parking available.
In advance of the BBQ, Mick will be leading a short and leisurely four mile circular walk, leaving the field at 2.30 prompt.
There will be a nominal charge of £1 per head, to be collected on the day, to cover the cost of mowing the grass, charcoal and other incidentals.
