It looks like we will enjoy a break from the rain on Thursday with some welcome sunshine, but who knows. Having walked the route on Sunday after a day of rain, the ground was starting to turn muddy with a few standing puddles. To try and avoid slippery slopes I have decided to reverse the walk which means a couple of steep inclines around the third quarter of the route, but you will enjoy a downhill finish. Hiking poles are recommended.
As the Frankland Arms, Washington is now closed we will be repairing to the Anchor Inn, Storrington instead for apres ramble sustenance. It is situated in the High St, postcode RH20 4DU.
See you Thursday
