This is to invite all members to my field in Ditchling for our annual BBQ. See walks programme for details about the 4 mile walk. You can arrive any time from midday onwards. The field is in Spatham Lane BN6 8XJ TQ337157 & I will place a sign near the gate. From Ditchling go east from the crossroads on the Lewes Road for about three quarters of a mile. Turn left into Spatham Lane. The field is another three quarters of a mile on the left hand side. Bring all you need for your BBQ. We will provide a few BBQs & a fire for you to cook on. You can bring your own BBQ etc. We will provide tea & coffee. We hope to have some entertainment / Camp fire singing etc.Bring you own chairs etc. This event will finish at about 8pm. You can stay on later if you wish. I have water in the field. I do not have toilets you will have to go to Ditchling car park or you could hide in the undergrowth !!!
