Meet 9.45 at Brighton station to catch 10.00 train to Hassocks. Buy return ticket. Leisurely 8 mile walk via Ditchling, Streat and Westmeston. Bring picnic lunch - there is shelter to sit under. Before returning to Hassocks Station enjoy mid afternoon tea and cakes at Oldland Mill in Ditchling to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee together with the Abandonment of Oldland Mill in 1912.
