We are the Brighton and Hove group of the national Ramblers. Walking and socialising in and around the South East of England.

Sunday’s walk, 25 May, led by 40-50’s leader, is around Thorney Island. Lots of bird life, seals too if we’re fortunate. Bring plenty to drink and food for a picnic on a sandy beach. Meet Brighton / Hove Stations for the 9:30 am / 9:34 am to Emsworth. Go for the third carriage. Otherwise meet at 10:45 am at Emsworth Railway Station on the south side near the Railway Inn. If dry, sturdy trainers, otherwise walking boots. Approx. 10 miles.

Yes I thoroughly enjoyed it too. Shame I forgot the sunscreen though.
