Hope you can make it for this lovely and varied walk which takes us over the Downs from Telscombe Tye to Piddinghoe and then along the river to Newhaven for our lunch stop by the quay underneath the fort. The Hope Inn is available otherwise please bring a picnic. We return to Telscombe along the cliff top path. I rewalked the route yesterday and the ground is firm and dry and the forecast is pretty good so far. If you like the Downs, rivers or sea - or all of them - then come along!
