30s–50s Seaford to Eastbourne via the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head - Sunday, 23rd April 2017

A linear walk from Seaford to Eastbourne via the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head. Picnic lunch at Birling Gap or in the National Trust café. Linear, 14 miles

The walk will begin from the bus stop outside Seaford library (Sutton Park Road, BN25 1QX).

The walk will finish at Eastbourne Pier, Grand Parade, Eastbourne, East Sussex (BN21 3EL, TV617989). Return buses to Brighton and Seaford run frequently.  

Accessible by public transport: Bus #12 departs from opposite the Brighton Sea Life Centre, Stop K at 09:09 (or from Brighton Station at 09:01, Stop D). Arrives Seaford Library at 09:51. Buy a NETWORK SAVER ticket which will also cover the return trip from Eastbourne.

For those walkers who do not wish to do the full 14 miles, there are plenty of opportunities to leave the walk and catch the bus back to Brighton from Exceat, Birling Gap or Beachy Head.

Yes of course.  Remember to bring plenty of water as it is a fairly strenuous walk!
