An invitation to all to join me on a walk in St. Leonard's Forest. Meeting at Preston Park Station at 9-30a.m and travelling by car to the start point Roost Hole forestry car park just north of Mannings Heath. Our route is via the Stew Pond, High Weald Landscape Trail, Springfield Farm and lunching at Colgate either the pub or picnic. After lunch, we will return via Blindman's Wood, Barnsnap, High Weald Landscape Trail, Mick's Cross back to Roost Hole.
The walk is around 8 miles fairly hilly landscape partly in forest and some open country. Hope to see some of you then. Please bring cars if you can and we will arrange transport with the least amount of cars travelling to St. Leonard,s Forest.
