Due to engineering works in central London on Saturday, the Thameslink service beyond London Bridge will be closed, and we will not be able to get to St Pancras quickly without buying a tube ticket. Instead please buy a London Travelcard via London Bridge, and we will go directly to Paddington by Tube via Jubilee and Bakerloo lines. Otherwise the walk will be as described, catching the 9.04am from Brighton.
As some walkers prefer to bring a picnic lunch, we will peel off at the zoo into Regents Park for lunch, where there should be a cafe. Camden Lock is poor for picnic or takeaway food as there is nowhere much to sit. The weather forecast is looking good so hope to see you at Brighton Station.
