Hi there, since there has been some interest in at least one more evening walk this summer , I'm going to lead an additional evening walk of approx 3 1/2 miles on Wednesday evening starting from Poynings. It will commence from the Royal Oak at Poynings at 7pm, ascend Newtimber Hill , cross the Open Access land to Saddlescombe , skirt round Devil's Dyke , before descending down the Dyke itself back into Poynings where we'll finish with a drink (yeah and probably some cheesecake as well!) in the Royal Oak.
Meet with cars at 6.45pm at The South end of Preston Park (edge of the Rose Garden by the Rotunda Cafe), or 7pm at The Royal Oak in Poynings. Please come along if you can make it. Clive
