30s-50s Downs in the city afternoon walk - Sunday 29th March

Discover amazing views of Brighton from the Downs.  This afternoon walk starts in Hollingbury woods and makes its way along the crest of the Downs to Hollingbury's own historic hill fort. Great views of Brighton, the sea and the Downs in four directions.  We then head down hill through the Wild Park to the Lewes Road and into quiet serenity of Stanmer Park,  Opportunity for a mid walk break of tea and cake at the café before heading through the woods back up hill and over Hollingbury Hill to the start.  Bus no 46 or 26 will get you to the start or free car parking a top of the park. If you want an easier option, it is very easy to get public transport back to town from Stanmer Park or catch the train to London Road station and then bus back up the hill to the start.
