Committee Nominations for AGM

This year's AGM will take place on Friday 9 November 2012, starting at 7.30pm at Patcham Memorial Hall. It might seem a bit early to be announcing the AGM but there will be four vacancies on the committee and nominations are needed! The vacancies are:

Chairman; Secretary; 40s/50s Representative; Social Secretary.

A nomination form will shortly be available on the documents page and can also be obtained by emailing the Secretary, as above.

All members of Brighton and Hove Ramblers are eligible to apply for any committee post, but we are particularly concerned about those posts where post-holders are required by the constitution, or have indicated their wish, to stand down. Remember: BAHR is run entirely by its members who are all volunteers - whether walk leaders, walks programmers or committee members. We all enjoy the wonderful walks that magically take place on various days of the week, but without our dedicated group of walk leaders and behind-the-scenes people none of this would happen. So - time to get more involved!
