Just a note to say I'm going to take over Charles's Birling Gap-Beachy Head walk on Sunday 30th September. I'm leading a 6 mile circular walk for Crowded Pier (www.crowdedpier.co.uk) to Charleston for the 'Going Global' event in the Small Wonder Short Story festival on that Sunday anyway, so I'll make it a joint CP/BAHR walk again. The walk is the reverse of the 20s-40s walk Nick led recently for BAHR around Firle.
We'll meet at the Level at 10am again (please bring cars), or you can meet me at the Ram Pub at Firle at 10.30am, we'll then walk to Charleston . The 'Going Global ' events starts at 12pm, the event lasts about an hour, however it is optional so you could just take a 2 hour lunch break instead. Lunch can be taken in the barn, tea room or could be a picnic. After lunch, we'll walk back to Firle over the Downs, possibly having afternoon tea/cocktails at Firle Place or back at the Ram.
