Hope some of you are looking forward to the walk on the 'West -Side'. Cars will be required so please go to Preston with cars if you can for 9.45am. Anyone kind enough to do so, please post/comment to allow others to bag-zee a seat!
I will meet everyone at 10.30am at the start . Car park is off the A27 dual carriage way into the woods, right turn into Blakehurst at 'Poling Corner' (before you reach the traffic lights/Arundel from Worthing). As road turns sharp left, park on gravel car park or grass verges but don't block gravel track that bears right please.
This walk takes a route through verdant woods, a secret valley and up Wepham Down with its fabulous views across the Arun Valley towards Arundel. Picnic lunch on a tranquil hill with 360 degree vista, included is a cheeky late pub stop in Burpham for refreshments only.
