7.5 mile walk at 10.15am. A chance to head off the beaten path to explore some surprisingly beautiful tracks and valleys around Brighton's eastern suburbs. We visit the racecourse and enjoy the views from Tenantry Down before visiting Bevendean Woods. Refreshment stop collecting a tea and a snack from Falmer farm shop. We return via a new shared path. Some steep climbs and descents. We will run the walk in the opposite direction to last autumn's misty version!
Accessible by public transport: Brighton Churchill Square, Stop H for Bus # 2. Departs at 9:57am. Arrives Race Hill, Elm Grove (top) at 10:07am. Short walk to Wyevale Garden Centre. Leader will meet everybody at the starting point-look out for us in front of the clock tower at the garden centre entrance .
