It's gently undulating, with some great woodland scenery, and only four stiles. Refreshments afterwards at The Eight Bells. Hope to see you there! Mike

Members might be interested to read about the early history of BAHR (RA2000), which has just been added to the "Committee Stuff" page. It was written by a former Chairman, the late Ian Carnochan some time in the mid- to late-1980s and recently passed to us by his widow, Sue.
If you fancy a decent workout after a busy week come and join me this Saturday for a breeze along the Downs to Washington, and back to Steyning after lunch at the Frankland Arms (or bring a picnic). The car park has been changed from the original plan (already amended on the website). It will be muddy, so walking poles are strongly recommended. Hope to see you there. Mike

Please join me, in Barrie's absence, this Thursday for a lovely Wealden walk. It promises to be dry and warm, the woodland flowers are in bloom, and the mud has gone. It's relatively flat but, be warned, there will be a lot of stiles! Refreshments afterwards at the welcoming Six Bells. Mike

I have a lovely Wealden walk this Thursday but, be warned, it will be very muddy. Having just completed the pre-walk, I've decided to shorten the route to five miles. However, with the mud, it will still feel like at least six! Sturdy waterproof boots and walking poles are strongly recommended. Lunch/drinks afterwards at the Kings Head pub. Mike
