As my original route duplicated too much of Graham's recent walk, I've redesigned it, but starting at the same location. The new route (which is already on the on-line programme) will take us through Friston Forest to Exceat, and then back along the SDW over five of the Seven Sisters. It's a moderately strenuous walk, with lots of hills, but with wonderful views of the Cuckmere Valley. Walking poles are recommended. Hope to see you there. Mike

Having received a special deal from HF Holidays for a short walking break at their hotel in Church Stretton, I have reserved rooms there for the three nights beginning 29 March 2019. The basic cost is £165 for full board, plus extras for 'better' (£7.50 per night) or 'best' rooms (£10). All rooms have en-suite facilities. Several BAHR members have already indicated their interest, so we already have a quorum. But there are a few rooms still available. Please let me know asap if you are…Continue

As we are now into the holiday booking season, I thought it might be worth reminding BAHR members that our Group is now part of the The Walking Partnership with Ramblers Worldwide Holidays (RWH). Under this scheme, whenever any BAHR member books a holiday with RWH, our Group receives “cashback” as follows:
