The next programme runs from March to June, covering the Sundays and Wednesday evenings listed below. With a total of 43 walks planned for the next programme, in order to fully complete this I need help from both new and previous leaders to share a favourite walk or explore a new walk in an area that interests you. Walks can be led individually or jointly, by anyone who is a paid-up member of the Ramblers.

It looks like we will enjoy a break from the rain on Thursday with some welcome sunshine, but who knows. Having walked the route on Sunday after a day of rain, the ground was starting to turn muddy with a few standing puddles. To try and avoid slippery slopes I have decided to reverse the walk which means a couple of steep inclines around the third quarter of the route, but you will enjoy a downhill finish. Hiking poles are recommended.

Worthing pier to Littlehampton. Linear flat walk 28th February 2019
Carol and I did our pre walk and its not exactly mud free as promised, there is a lot more grassy tracks which was a pleasant surprise.

I have double checked train times for this fabulous walk and look forward to meeting you at Brighton station for the 8:58 train. Drivers get a lie in (meet us at 10:28), but no beer afterwards. Please text if you are coming by car in case the trains are delayed!
Poles and gaiters optional! Quite a lot is sandy rather than muddy! But there is a waterfall!
