The walk is 4miles easy going flat suitable for any walker. If you intend going direct to the walk start please arrange to arrive before 2-30 p.m as we intend starting slightly earlier than the published time to enable us to complete before darkness. If you have no transport please come to Preston Park Station before 2-00 p.m as we hope to offer lifts to the start.

It looks like the weather gods are smiling on us again. Sunshine on offer for a lovely downland and Sussex vale walk. Time for a brief picnic atop the South Downs with more refrshments back at basecamp in Storrington. Having received a special deal from HF Holidays for a short walking break at their hotel in Church Stretton, I have reserved rooms there for the three nights beginning 29 March 2019.
