This undulating 10½ mile walk will begin at 10.15am from the 'Lintons' car park in the Ashdown Forest, between Wych Cross and Coleman's Hatch. The starting point provides one of the most scenic views northwards over the Ashdown Forest and the Sussex Weald. I have booked "The Lord Nelson" near Brighton station for a Christmas meal on Wednesday 20th December at 8pm. This is open to all Brighton & Hove Ramblers, but especially the Sunday walkers.
The meal cost is £25 for 3 courses (or £20 for 2 courses), plus a 10% service charge. The Lord Nelson can cater for parties up to 25 people.

Our AGM this year will be held in the Ascension Church, Mill Rise, Westdene, BN1 5GS on Friday 3rd November, beginning at 7.30pm.
There is ample street parking available in the vicinity. Alternatively the number 27 bus stops at The Deneway, from where it is a short walk up the hill. From Preston Park railway station it is a 15 minute walk.
