Sunday 30th November: 30s-50s Goring-Angmering circular

Nice varied walk starting at Goring station and on to Patching via Highdown Hill with great views to the North Downs and coast, iron-age fort and Miller's Tomb (above). Steyning Stunner - 30s-50s - Sunday 30th November

It's time to wrap up in your finest fleeces for the return of the Steyning Stunner, an eleven mile loop taking in two steep ascents, a stretch of South Downs Way, Chanctonbury Ring, and Washington. Reminder: 30s-50s Ashurst and Ashington Circular

This Sunday's walk is a beautiful walk through woods and meadows at the foot of the Downs between Ashurst and Ashington. We have permission to park at Ashurst Rec on School Lane (opposite Ashurst CofE school). We will start at 10.25.



Lunch is at the fantastic Red Lion in Ashington (I have also found a picnic site for those who prefer). And after the 8.5 miles, optional afternoon tea at Steyning tea rooms.

This Sunday's 7Sisters walk is on, no changes. Bus 13X limited stop departs 09:53 Brighton Sealife Centre stop K. Bus also goes from Churchill Sq or North St. Arrives Seaford Library 10:25. WALKING HOLIDAY IN THE COTSWOLDS MAY 2015

Members are invited to a walking holiday in the Cotswolds, based at Cirencester, from Wednesday 13th May to Saturday 16th May 2015.  Leaders Sandra & John, and Geoff.  There will be a short town walk, 2 walks of 9-10 miles at Bourton-on-the-Water and Chedworth, and a short walk of 4.5 miles.  You will need to book your own accommodation.  To request brochure please e-mail mail@geoffjames.plus.com.  There will be a few printed copies at the AGM.
