As per the programme we are meeting by the Church which is opposite the Black Horse pub in Nuthurst on Thursday. I have spoken to the landlord who has agreed that, if you are going to the pub after the walk, you may park in the pub car park.

Yes, 26.2 miles, I must be craaaaazy. It's not the 26 that will hurt, it's the .2 probably. I think crawling across the finish line is allowed though...

This is a public transport walk, the leader will be at the start of the walk, it is advised that you catch the 13x , it leaves bton station stop D at 9.40,churchill sq stop E at 9.46,north st stop C
at 9.49,opp sea life centre stop K at 9.53. This arrives at Seven Sisters park Centre at 10.35.
This is a moderate and hilly walk in places, there is a long and fairly steep climb after lunch.

For the See Jevington From Above walk on 28 September, the 13x leaves Brighton Station stop D at 9.40, Churchill Sq stop E at 9.46 and opp Sea life Centre stop K at 9.53. Arrives Friston Pond 10.40 where walk starts at 10.45. It's 8 miles with panoramic scenery and one easy climb. Pub lunch in Jevington or picnic in churchyard with its many benches and drinking water tap for refilling bottles. Leader(s) getting on at Brighton Station.

So far the forecast looks good for Sunday so a fair chance of great views from Wolstonbury Hill! This is the only climb on the walk but well worth the effort....trust me! For those who like to take on new walks in remote locations, i can recommend this walk.
The walk will commence from the White Hart in Netherfield at 1100.
I wont be at the level, and would ask IF anyone is going to the level with their car, to
please put a post here on the web site to allow others to ask for a place in your car.
