After my pre-walk, I've decided to slightly alter the route of this downland walk. It's the same starting point, but it will now be a six-mile walk, taking in Kingston. It's quite hilly, including one particularly steep ascent, but you'll be rewarded with the most stunning view of the Downs that I know. Walking poles would be useful. Do join me this Thursday.

Reminder:
Don’t forget this Saturday’s walk with Mike Weatherley MP. Starting outside the Hangleton Manor pub at 2.30pm (or 2.00pm from Preston Park station), it’s an easy four mile walk up on to the downs, and back through Mile Oak. Come and join us for a chat with another of our local MPs.

Hi,
I work for a small Brighton charity that supports adults with high functioning Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome called ASSERT. As part of my role, once a month I put on supported walks for my client’s to attend. The idea is to help clients increase their health and well-being and have a chance to socialise.
I only moved to Brighton in March and so do not have a very good local knowledge. I was wondering if you could give me some support of places that are…
