Dear BAHR members,
The next programme runs from November to February, covering the Sundays listed below. With a total of 17 walks planned for the next programme, in order to fully complete this I need help from both new and previous leaders to share a favourite walk or explore a new walk in an area that interests you. Walks can be led individually or jointly, by anyone who is a paid-up member of the Ramblers.

I have noticed that the Post Code is wrong. The grid reference is correct (TQ367025). The Post Code is BN2 7BS. The walk does not start in Rottingdean but outside Blind Veterans UK which some of you probably know better as St Dunstans at Ovingdean Gap. There is roadside parking in Greenways, the road leading off the roundabout towards Ovingdean Village.

This ‘circular’ walk is 11.5 miles long and takes us through classic rolling countryside of the High Weald. We will be stopping for lunch on the outskirts of Mayfield at the Rose & Crown, or if you prefer, bring your own picnic to have on the nearby King George's Playing Fields Park where there are some benches with an attractive view.
Kindly let us know by latest 5.00pm…Continue

Greetings all! Join me on a moderate to strenuous linear walk starting at 10am, from the Seven Sisters visitors centre at Exceat to Eastbourne via Friston forest and Birling Gap where we join the coast path. We need to cover 6.5 miles in 2.5 hours to hopefully arrive at Beachy Head in time for the Red Arrows so the pace will reflect that. Well earnt picnic lunch about 12.30pm with good views to watch the planes fly over for Eastbourne airshow. HILLY, involving a number of ascents and…Continue

I’m wondering if this is something you might be able to advertise with your local membership? I’ve…Continue

Thanks to the hardy few that braved yesterday's weather and came back for the charity cheese and wine do. Although numbers were down we still made £50 for Cancer Research.

As this is Gay Pride weekend there will be disruption to public transport, road closures this Saturday in Brighton. This will effect the 9.30am number 17 bus from Churchill Sq to Henfield. Anyone hoping to take the bus will have need to check the diversion for the route or make alternative arrangements.
