We have booked "Marroccos" near The King Alfred Hove for an end of summer Wednesday evening walks' meal on Wednesday 23rd August. This is a seafront Italian restaurant serving very good food.
We propose to meet at the Palace Pier Brighton for 7:30pm then walk to Marroccos which is 2miles away. On our way we will hopefully watch the sunset at 8:04pm. If you prefer you can meet us at Marroccos for 8:15pm.

I look forward to greeting everyone in Catsfield for our 7 mile walk. The weather forecast is good for Thursday !! Perhaps the odd shower. John Harmer from the Rother Ramblers will lead the walk for us. He has done a lot for Ramblers in previous years. He also sometimes puts walks in The Argus. We will have a Lunch stop in Battle for a Pub / Picnic.The walk should finish just after 3pm. There is an alteration to the train time to London Bridge on Saturday.
The train for London Bridge leaves Brighton Station at 9.32 . This does not call at Preston Park as originally noted, so anyone who hoped to board at Preston Park will now have to go to Brighton Station.
It is not strictly necessary to purchase a Travel Card if returning by Thames Clipper, but the card allows a third off the price, and has the flexibility of returning from Greenwich by the DLR if…Continue
