Reminder: 30s–50s Ashdown Forest, Fairwarp and Nutley Circular – Sunday 3rd July 2016

Please join me for an attractive 11 mile circular walk through the south eastern area of the Ashdown Forest, including Old Lodge Nature Reserve, a section of The Wealdway and Nutley Windmill. The walk will begin promptly at 10.30am from the ‘Friends’ car park in Crowborough Road, near Nutley, East Sussex. Additional parking is available in the ‘Stonehill’ car park on the opposite side of the road.

30s-50s Horsted Keynes and Chelwood Gate Circular - Sunday 26th June 2016

Join me on a circular walk in the countryside surrounding Horsted Keynes and Chelwood Gate. The route follows alongside a short section of the Bluebell Railway and the Sussex Border Path before passing through Grinstead Wood and Stumblewood Common. Lewes and Rodmell circular - Sunday 19th June 2016

A circular walk around Lewes. Cars not required - train to Lewes. 9th century priory - a hidden valley with a lost village - pass from one hemisphere to the other - views of Breaky Bottom vineyard. Lunch at Rodmell [Abergvenny Arms] and return along the river or by train from Southease.

Meet leader outside Lewes Station at 10.30 am. 

Please note there is a short steep climb to the top of the downs behind Kingston.

Dane Hill Circular Walk - Thursday 16th June 2016.

This walk starts at Heaven Farm just South of Dane Hill. I have agreed with the owner to park in the overflow car park just inside the entrance gate on the north ( right side ) this to accommodate other visitors. Mannings Heath Circular Walk- Saturday 11th June 2016

The walk starts at Roost Hole C.P north of the Mannings Heath Village G.R. TQ208299. Meet at Preston Park Station at 9-30 a.m and bring transport if possible. We will arrange transport with the least number of cars. The walk starts at 10-30 a.m and proceeds via Stew Pond, High Weald Landscape Trail, Springfield Farm and Colgate for lunch. Reminder: 30s–50s Burwash, Brightling and Wood's Corner Circular – Sunday 12th June 2016

Please join me for a scenic walk through the parishes of Brightling, Burwash and Dallington in the Rother District of East Sussex. Varied countryside and woodland, with a chance along the way to spot several of Mad Jack Fuller's Follies which were built in this area. Picnic lunch in Burwash, beside the church, with attractive views in the background. There is also a choice of two pubs, a café and the local store for refreshments or food.

Swiss holiday 24/9 --- 1/10

I am again organising a holiday in Kandersteg Bernese Oberland.
