A linear walk via Kingston and Rodmell, including the 11th century Cluniac priory - a hidden valley with a lost village - crossing from the Western to the Eastern Hemisphere - a local vineyard. Pub lunch or picnic. This event is part of the Lewes Hike and Bike Festival. About ten miles.

Join me on Wednesday 27th May at 19:15 for an evening stroll up onto the Downs near Kingston for views to the sea and Lewes (weather permitting). Option of drinks at the Juggs afterwards.

A reminder for this Sundays walk from Glynde to Southease.
Meet at Brighton Station at 10am for the 10.12am train to Glynde.
Return from Southease Station where the trains leave 11 mins past the hour.
Alternatively drive and leave car at Glynde,free parking just across the bridge from Glynde Station, return from Southease to Glynde changing train at Lewes.

The first mid week evening walk of this Summer season will take place this Wednesday 20th May.
The walk will be around the Bramber area and is pretty much flat to break you in gently.
The weather forecast is not looking great at the moment, but there is always the chance it will improve nearer the time!
The walk is about 4.5 miles in length and there is the opportunity for a drink in a pub at the end.

Join me for a lovely walk from Berwick to Lewes through Selmeston and Alciston and then up the bostal path to the South Downs Way, descending into Firle and then to Glynde for a late lunch (approx. 1.30pm) at the Trevor Arms or picnic nearby. This walk was originally listed as a Figure of Eight walk for both morning and afternoon but is now changed to a morning only walk which will be 5.5 miles long and will finish hopefully by 1-00 p.m. Lunch details as listed but will now occur at walk's end. This Sunday's 7Sisters walk is on, no changes. Bus 13X limited stop departs 09:53 Brighton Sealife Centre stop K. Bus also goes from Churchill Sq stop E 9:46, or from North St. Arrives Seaford Library 10:25. Walk to Seaford Martello Tower for 10:45. You can join at any of these points: I'll keep an eye open.
