May 2014 Announcements (14)

Reminder...Adur Circular, Sunday 1st June

There's no change to the advertised walk. Meet at brighton level 10am. I don't drive, so really appreciate it if some people could come to level with cars, as opposed to going straight to start point. Thanks.

Morning part of walk is quite long and hilly, so I suggest bringing a bit of snack fodder, and we can stop for a snack break mid morning.

The main trough is in kings head pub, beeding. Adur river bank close by for picnickers. The afternoon part of the walk is relatively short and… Continue

Slaugham Walk Thursday 29 May

This walk will start as planned in Slaugham village however please note that because of the current road works on the A23, the Slaugham exit off the A23 is currently closed and you will therefore need to take the Warninglid exit and follow the signs to Slaugahm.

I've just checked the weather forecast for tomorrow and it looks as though we may manage a day without rain but a word of warning, if it is absolutely pouring down the walk will be cancelled!!

Look forward to seeing…

New 30-50’s walking group as 20-40’s and 40/50’s groups merge

Many of you will be aware of the organisational discussions that have been taking place over the last six months. These discussions began as we saw members move freely between the 20’s-40’s and 40/50’s groups.
