We have arranged a First Aid course for BAHR members with the Sussex First Aid Centre on Saturday 24 June from 9.30am - 4.00pm. To be held at The Ladies Mile pub in Patcham. Certificates will be awarded. 12 places will cost £15 per head, with the balance subsidised by Ramblers.

The time has come for me to plan the next programme, from July to October, covering the 18 Sundays and 7 Wednesday evenings listed below. Once again I am asking for help from both new and previous leaders to share a favourite walk or explore a new walk in an area that interests you. A linear walk from Seaford to Eastbourne via the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head. Picnic lunch at Birling Gap or in the National Trust café. Linear, 14 miles
The walk will begin from the bus stop outside Seaford library (Sutton Park Road, BN25 1QX).
The walk will finish at Eastbourne Pier, Grand Parade, Eastbourne, East Sussex (BN21 3EL, TV617989). Return buses to Brighton and Seaford run frequently.

This is a hilly circular walk of approximately 13 miles between Alfriston and Seaford, with a variety of terrains and some excellent views of downland and the coast.
Lunch will be in Seaford, where there is a choice of cafés, pubs and shops. Our stop is likely to be sometime around 1.30pm and last for about 65 minutes. We will afterwards reassemble outside Tesco Express in Sutton Park Road for the shorter return leg of the walk.
