Thanks for a great walk Steve including the 'bonus' section at the end and the mad dash for the bus!! I'm planning to do a walk in this area on 16th June so good to get a idea of the 'lie of the land'.

All going ahead as planned, Linear walk from Seaford to Eastbourne pier, 14 miles hilly -moderate to fast pace. Start of the walk Seaford old library bus stop 10.30am. 13x bus leaves bus stop d near brighton station at 9.40am. There are trains to Seaford too. Dont forget the clocks go forward tonight.

I am organising another visit to Chichester Festival Theatre to see the musical Guys & Dolls. This is on Thursday Sept 4th at 2.30pm in the new refurbished theatre. The idea is to meet for a short walk in the morning ( Details later ) If you do not wish to walk, you can arrive just before the show.

Three windmills, some hills (with chocolate incentive) and choice of pub lunch (http://www.whitehorseditchling.com/images/Sunday%20lunch%20menu.pdf) or cafe in Ditchling. Walk starts at approx. 10.15am in Hassocks Train station car park. Please be aware that there are two station car parks. Leader will be on East side of track near The Hassocks pub.

We spoke about a walking weekend to the Isle of Wight.
Looking to make an early start on Saturday 19th July to enable a 14 mile walk from Carisbrooke to Alum Bay. Maybe stay the night in either Freshwater or Yarmouth in a moderately priced hotel or B & B. Alternatively return to Brighton same day.
