It is just possible that some rain might fall prior to and in the course of the walk. Should the precipitation be unfeasibly heavy then it will be possible to shorten the walk to about 5.5 miles rather than 9. Assuming that we do the full distance then it might be an idea to bring a snack for a lunch break.

Do join me and other walkers for a circular hike from Washington on to the South Downs Way and westwards. The walk offers some excellent views and takes in interesting countryside. Attractive wealden church with ancient yew trees will be visited en route.
