High Weald Walking Festival : 15 - 23 September 2018

Please support the first High Weald Walking Festival. The High Weald lies on the eastern edge of the South Downs National Park and we often have walks there. The programme has been put together entirely by volunteers - including several members of Sussex Area committee - on a shoestring budget of £750. What they have produced is fantastic: 36 walks of all types and distances from a 2 mile stroll to a 9.5 mile ramble. Hope you can make it for this lovely and varied walk which takes us over the Downs from Telscombe Tye to Piddinghoe and then along the river to Newhaven for our lunch stop by the quay underneath the fort.
