A circular walk around Lewes, cars not required. Train from Brighton 10.12 to Lewes. Walk starts from Lewes Station at 10.30. We will visit a 11th century priory - a hidden valley with a lost village and pass Breaky Bottom vineyard. We pass from one hemisphere to the other before lunch at the Abergavenny Arms in Rodmell and return along the river to Lewes.
About 11 miles with one steep climb to the top of the Downs at Kingston.
