Walk on Sunday (6th May) - Ditchling Beacon to Plumpton Green Circular (with a sting in the tail!)

It looks like Sunday is going to be hot, sunny and dry - which means this 9 mile walk culminating in a steep 150m climb to finish will be a good test of your stamina!  The walk starts at 10.45 from Ditchling Beacon Car Park, Ditchling Road, BN6 8RJ (Parking is £2 / free for National Trust members; accessible by bus #79, departing from the Old Steine bus stop U @ 10:15, arrives Ditchling Beacon 10:42 - I will be going directly to the starting point).We start by walking East along the South Downs…See More

30s-50s East Dean to Alfriston and Exceat Sunday (3rd September) - updated times

I've just realised that the bus times I had been sent were for the winter timetable, so I have updated on the Ramblers website to the new times (depart / arrive 25 minutes later; walk start changed from 10.30 to 10.45 / when bus arrives).  Weather forecast at the moment dry and cloudy / 17 degrees.  Hopefully see lots of you there :)

Dear BAHR members,

Believe it or not, the time has come for me to plan the winter programme, from November 2017 to February 2018, covering the 17 Sundays listed below. Once again I am asking for help from both new and previous leaders to share a favourite walk or explore a new walk in an area that interests you. Walks can be led individually or jointly, by anyone who is a paid-up member of the Ramblers.
