30s-50s Merstham - South Nutfield - Skimmington Circular (14 miles)

Hello everyone,If you fancy a bit more of a challenging walk a bit further away from Brighton, then please join me on the above walk this Sunday (16th).  Starting 10.30 from Merstham station.  (Car park costs £2.15, with some free on-street parking available nearby; can be reached from Brighton by travelling to end of M23 on to A23 and then U-turn to A23 southwards towards Redhill - or accessible by public transport: Brighton station for the 09:27 to Gatwick Airport, arrives 09:58, then 10:11…See More

30s-50s Shortgate - Rose Hill Circular Walk Sunday 28th April: need to pre-book lunch by Sunday 14th April

Just to advise that if you are coming on my walk on 28th April and would like lunch at the Halfway House then this needs to be pre-booked ASAP and by end of Sunday 14th April at the latest. Walk on Sunday (6th May) - Ditchling Beacon to Plumpton Green Circular (with a sting in the tail!)

It looks like Sunday is going to be hot, sunny and dry - which means this 9 mile walk culminating in a steep 150m climb to finish will be a good test of your stamina!  The walk starts at 10.45 from Ditchling Beacon Car Park, Ditchling Road, BN6 8RJ (Parking is £2 / free for National Trust members; accessible by bus #79, departing from the Old Steine bus stop U @ 10:15, arrives Ditchling Beacon 10:42 - I will be going directly to the starting point).We start by walking East along the South Downs…See More
