Hi all - Sorry but I've decided to cancel Saturday's work from Shoreham due to forecast of high winds and rain all day. Given the exposed route, it wouldn't be very enjoyable in these conditions. If you know anyone who was thinking of coming, would you mind letting them know in case they miss the announcements. Graham has kindly updated the main website.

While everyone else is watching rugby, why not join me for a 10 mile circular walk: Shoreham-Lancing Ring-Coombes-Botolphs-Upper Beeding-Mill Hill with lunch at the Kings Head in Upper Beeding. We start at the Red Lion pub in Shoreham at 10am. Meet at Preston Park station at 9.30 or go straight to the start via the No 2 bus. Plenty of on street car parking near the Red Lion on the Upper Shoreham Road. If you don't fancy the full 10 miles, there is the option of getting the No.2 bus back to…

Just promoting my 9 mile circular walk this Saturday - starting at Beeding Hill and stopping off at the Sussex Wildlife Trust's Woods Mill reserve for a lunchtime picnic. The National Trust Car Park at Beeding Hill is accessed from the Upper Shoreham Road in Shoreham (near the Red Lion/Amsterdam pubs) following the signed road to Mill Hill. Carry on past both Mill Hill car parks to reach the NT car park on a bend after another two miles. Please bring a picnic as there is no pub or…

Pre-walked this last week. Fab walk. Stunning and varied scenery. The Sportsman Pub is open again in Amberley so that's where we will lunch. Not much mud but boots are essential as there is a short marshy stretch. I will be going straight to the start but hopefully some of you will head to Preston Park first to pick up those without transport. We meet at 10.30 at Kithurst Hill car park which is on your left as you travel from Storrington towards Amberley. Not well signposted and easy to…
